Community Impact Tours

Announcement!

We’re excited to share that, after years of collaborating with students and community partners, Tejiendo Alianzas is launching Community Impact Tours in Oaxaca. Join us to learn how entrepreneurship, innovation, and cultural preservation flourish in rural Indigenous communities.

Over six memorable days in early December 2025, you’ll visit local microenterprises we partner with and meet Zapotec artisans and entrepreneurs whose family‑run businesses reflect generations of knowledge and sustainable practices rooted in respect for the land. Together we’ll explore the historic capital, take part in hands‑on workshops in partner communities, and share meals in family homes with dishes prepared by regional producers.

Our focus

These tours highlight our nonprofit’s pillars—sustainable development, social inclusion, and community empowerment—by facilitating direct, respectful interactions with the people leading this work. This approach fosters meaningful connection and a deeper understanding of local realities.

Impact 10% of tour profits go directly to our partner groups, strengthening year‑round, community‑led initiatives.
